Sides fleet include two Jack-up Barges, Sideson 1 & 2 These vessels were commissioned in 1975 (Sideson 1) & 1980 (Sideson 2). Both vessels are certified by AMSA. Sideson 1 has the ability to be operated in 21 metres of water with Sideson 2 able to operate in 26 metres. Each barge is operated by an experienced master, each with over twenty years experience with the company operating these vessels.

To complete contracts for geotechnical investigations, it is common to utilise Sides' UDR 500 Drill Rig or its Mole Pioneer. Both rigs are capable of drilling down to 200m using PQ drill strings which are the common offshore geotechnical sampling tools. The rigs can be matched with HQ drilling systems for deeper work as well as ODEX type systems.
